2. You need a lot of protein.

Aside from the fact that protein gives you energy, it will also help you endure any physical pain. Carbohydrates and sugars are very rich in protein and they both help our bodies repair itself. 3. Keep in mind that pain is positive.
Yes, it is true that this is easier said than done, however, if you are able to manage pain and think of it positively, you won’t have any problems focusing on your goal. You have to associate pain with something that is positive in order for you NOT to be bothered by it. If you have a positive mind, you will be able to manage pain easily.
4. Concentrate on your goal.
You have to be mentally tough if you want to become a marathon runner. When you are running and suddenly you feel pain, keep telling your mind that it will eventually pay off once you cross the finish line. Once you are able to cross that line and you reach your goal, all your hard work and sacrifices will eventually pay off. Not only will you be able to finish your marathon, you will also have a good shot at beating your personal best.
